A Container For Your Grief: Weaving Soft Vessels

This full day weaving workshop offers a gentle, hands-on way to transmute stagnant grief into something soft by repurposing and transforming fabrics and materials that no longer serve us into something new, through weaving. 

Together we’ll delve deeper into meditative aspects of weaving as a way to navigate grief, exploring processes of thinking and feeling through our hands to form soft vessels that hold us.

Participants will learn a weaving technique for rug and basket making. No prior weaving experience is needed. 

Please note:

This workshop is hosted in a private art studio. Due to the sensitivity of this workshop, space is limited to 6 participants, to keep the vibes intimate and intentional. 

All materials are included in the tuition price.

Location: Olde Kensington—address will be provided upon enrollment. The studio is accessible by elevator.

All workshop registration fees are non-refundable within 30 days of the workshop. If you need to cancel your registration, please email meirav.ong.studio@gmail.com at least 30 days before the original workshop date. Unfortunately, cancellations cannot be made less than 30 days in advance.

Payment Plans and Rates:

Payment plans are offered in monthly installments, and all payments must be made before the date of your workshop. If you would like to register for a workshop on a payment plan, please email meirav.ong.studio@gmail.com for more information — the website will not offer this option automatically.

How to choose pricing:

Solidarity Rate - This rate is intended for folks with unstable or low income. 

Full Cost Rate - This rate is intended for folks with stable average income. 

Redistribution Rate - Paying this rate allows for contribution to support my time working with folks with less access to wealth.
