Join us for afternoon Fiber Art classes, where young artists can explore their creativity with weaving, stitching and making by hand! Each session is designed to inspire and engage, fostering artistic skills while building confidence and friendships in a small group intimate environment.
We’ll play with a variety of mediums and materials including weaving and hand-sewing through projects rooted in curiosity, creativity, sustainability, and self-expression. Hands-on making is a great way to soothe nervous systems, nurture curiosity and gain new confidence through the satisfaction of making tangible creations. Our class will culminate in an end of year showcase!
What We’ll Do:
Explore different weaving and hand-sewing techniques through hands-on projects.
Build our own looms!
Experiment and play with color and texture.
Learn about contemporary artists and traditional crafts people.
Who this is for:
Kids ages 7 - 11 years old, beginners, and curious makers looking for a creative outlet in a fun and friendly setting. Capacity is limited to 8 students.
Workshop Details:
Tuesdays, 3:30- 5:30 pm (late pickup till 6 pm)

West Philly location will be provided upon registration
Accessibility: The studio is located on street level. There is one step to access the bathroom.
