CUSTOM TEXTILES

An invitation to weave the threads of your life into a tapestry of aliveness — a blanket, a rug, a scarf, a wall-hanging — that celebrates the fullness of life.

CELEBRATING LIFE

An offering to transmute the weight of your grief into a soft vessel — a blanket, a rug, a scarf, a wall-hanging — that can hold you in your grief.

HONORING GRIEF

HOW DOES THIS PROCESS WORK?

  • DREAM IT

You have something old that you dream of transforming into something fresh.

Together, we’ll discuss your intention and desires for the cloth, what stories you want to embrace and what you want to transform and imbue into a tapestry of aliveness / artwork of joy.

  • WEAVE IT

Through processes of weaving, of breaking down to rebuild, of embroidery and re-formation, we’ll create your sacred object or artwork.

  • CHERISH IT

It’s now yours to love and maybe pass along to your grandkids ones day (and hopefully they love it, but if it’s not their vibe then they get to continue the work ;)

  • "It is obvious that connecting individuals to grief as an experience with meaning, dimension and relevance is a passion..."

"It was a joy to be with Meirav. She is talented, knowledgeable, intuitive and open. It is obvious that connecting individuals to grief as an experience with meaning, dimension and relevance is a passion...and such important work."

    —Harriet Zilber, client

  • "I felt a sense of genuine safety, as she invited me to grieve and create."

“I took Meirav’s grief weaving workshop after my grandpa died, when I was looking for a gentle, tangible, somatic space to process and feel. Meirav’s workshop was exactly that. She brought a depth of kindness and rootedness to her role as teacher and guide. I felt a sense of genuine safety, as she invited me to grieve and create. The experience of ripping and weaving together fabric from my grandpa’s clothes and my own was such a meaningful manifestation of my grief— it’s the love and awe I feel when I consider how I am inextricably intertwined with my ancestors and the utter heartbreak I feel in their absence. It’s all there in the creation of this beautiful object that I can now turn to when I need a bit of comfort and softness.”

    —Brook Chambers, workshop participant

  • "The workshop with Meirav was heart-opening and mind-opening"

"The workshop with Meirav was heart-opening and mind-opening. The tactile experience of working with clay was both playful and tender. Our conversations were inquisitive and sensitive. I appreciate her work and her intention to allow grief to be a presence in our lives.”
