An offering to help transmute the weight of your grief into a soft vessel — a blanket, a rug, a scarf, a wall-hanging — that can hold you in your grief.
Let me help you (or your loved one) to transform the literal and figurative fibers of your sorrow, into something that becomes a woven testament to both your immense tangible grief, and your choice to seek aliveness.
To create a physical object that supports you, holds you, is an offering of tenderness and soft strength, a witness of your love, a way of inviting people into your grief without having to explain it in words.
PAST PROJECTS
Project
Tefillat Nashim - A Tablecloth of My Ancestors
Materials
Hand stitched metallic, silk, and cotton embroidery thread on cloth with steel rod. My body, the memory and presence of my ancestors, many hours, many threads.
Reflection
Tefillat Nashim is an invitation to gather with ancestors, to sit at the table with them and have a meal together. Where the table becomes the altar and our conversation the prayer.
It makes me sad that often the only information passed down of our ancestors are records of births and deaths. Sharing space around the table is a way to remember who they were and welcome them into our present life.
This table cloth was made in 2022 for my MFA thesis. Gathered around this table are my 10 closest matriarchal ancestors.

Project
A Rag Rug for Moriel
Materials
Cotton and assorted yarns, a collections of favorites (a turtleneck, a dress, a jean jacket, a pair of jeans) old bed sheets and other fabrics that were ready to be transformed
Reflection
I love the way a rag rug can contain it all. It’s a collection of the past reformed and woven together into a fabric that integrates into the present.
These pieces are just a glimpse of what's possible — something made with care, made to last, made for you or someone you love.
Whether you have a half-formed idea you haven't been able to bring to life, or materials with sentimental value just waiting to become something beautiful, I'd love to help you get there.
Don't keep it buried in the back of your closet or basement anymore — fill out the form below or schedule your free consultation call today and let's make it happen.
