An offering to help transmute the weight of your grief into a soft vessel — a blanket, a rug, a scarf, a wall-hanging — that can hold you in your grief.
Let me help you (or your loved one) to transform the literal and figurative fibers of your sorrow, into something that becomes a woven testament to both your immense tangible grief, and your choice to seek aliveness.
To create a physical object that supports you, holds you, is an offering of tenderness and soft strength, a witness of your love, a way of inviting people into your grief without having to explain it in words.

I offer workshops regularly in Philly, but you can also invite me to your community, wherever, and we can design a workshop together that fits your community’s needs. Workshops utilize somatic meditations combined with traditional weaving practices to spiritually, emotionally, and physiologically transmute our grief.

For blood family + chosen family — You can come to me or I can come to your house / family space. I’ll help you sift through the materials left behind by loss and decide what you want to keep to wear and use, what you want to gift, donate or rehome, and what you want transmuted into a weaving. We’ll move at the pace your family needs to honor / ritualize / linger / release / embrace this time of grief and transition.
This offering can be a beautiful ritual to incorporate into existing mourning practices, like during shiva or marking shloshim, or a yartzeit, but is available whenever the timing is right for you.
What do Family Support sessions include?
These are designed to fit your family’s needs. In our consultation, I’ll learn more about where your family is in its collective grief journey (I know this is hard, because, trust me, I know family members move through grief at very different paces), what you’re hoping for in working with me and how much stuff you have to sort through.
Sessions are custom tailored to be as ritualized and practical as you want and can include:
Physically sorting through materials and fabrics of your loved one
Somatic meditations and rituals of release and integration
Learning to weave and making your own weavings
Designing a weaving(s) for me to make for you and your family.
Everyone moves through grief at their own pace and I’m here to support your family in honoring the weight of loss and help you shift the weight of your collective and individual grief into a cloth (or cloths) that instead can hold you and your grief.

This offering builds off of Family support but is customizable to an even more granular level, to tend to your grief and its material weight.
What do One-on-One sessions include?
These sessions are designed with only you in mind (or whoever this is gifted to). Sessions are custom tailored to be as ritualized and/or practical as you want + need. Session can include:
Physically sorting through materials and fabrics
Somatic meditations and rituals of release and integration
Learning to weave and weaving your own cloth
Designing a weaving for me to make for you.

You give me materials and I will weave it into the soft container you desire (i.e. rug, blanket, scarf, wall-hanging, tallit, spiritual cape— something soft to hold you, with love).

This offering is supplemented with your choice of wool, cotton or linen to ensure a soft drape in the fabric. Included is a simple carrying pouch.

Hand-embroidered text for the atara or anywhere else on the tallit / garment +$72.
As with the wall hangings and rugs, all sizing is approximate as these are handmade with love and imperfections but I try my best to keep sizing as accurate as possible!

The rate for (Your) Hands-off is the price of the weaving I weave for you <3
I use a sliding scale payment method to make my offerings more accessible especially for those with less access to wealth while also acknowledging the energy + time I put into these offerings.
How to choose pricing:
Solidarity Rate - This is the lower end of the pricing spectrum, intended for folks with unstable or low income.
Full Cost Rate - This is the middle of the spectrum, intended for folks with stable average income and financial means.
Redistribution Rate - Paying a rate at the higher end of the pricing spectrum contributes to support my time working with folks with less access to wealth.
Grief doesn’t have to be isolating, even when it can’t be put into words. It can be held without words. You can gift this to yourself, or you can gift this to a loved one as a way of saying, “I see you, I love you, and you are not alone.”
