A conversation with Nancy Tellem, Co-Founder of BasBlue and honoree of Zekelman Holocaust Center Gala, 2022
I was invited to create an installation of over 6,000 Grief Stones for the Zekelman Holocaust Center Gala in Detroit, MI in November 2022. I wanted this to be a community project so for the 2 weeks leading up to the gala, I was the artist in residence at BasBlue, hosting daily grief stone meditations and open studio hours for community to come by and make grief stones with me.
