A weaving workshop ritual

to metabolize and transmute our grief
and weave it into something beautiful.
OUR DAY WILL INCLUDE:
Guided somatic and tactile meditations
Hands-on weaving demos
A weaving you’ll make to bring home! or gift!
A workshop kit with all materials + tools that are yours to keep
Time for lunch, reflection and journaling
Tea and cozy snacks
WHAT TO BRING:
Old clothes, fabric, and ephemera to transform into art
Lunch for the midday break
A journal
A water bottle

This is a tender, intimate space to regulate the nervous system and honor all forms of grief—personal or collective, named or unnamed. All are welcome.
No weaving experience needed — just bring your fabrics and your griefy feelings.

PRICING: SLIDING SCALE $200 - $300

HOW TO CHOOSE PRICING:
Solidarity Rate - This is the lower end of the pricing spectrum, intended for folks with unstable or low income.
Full Cost Rate - This is the middle of the spectrum, intended for folks with stable average income and financial means.
Redistribution Rate - Paying the higher end of the spectrum contributes to support my time working with folks with less access to wealth.
HOW TO REGISTER:
To reserve your spot, fill out the form below and send payment through venmo or paypal. If using paypal, please make sure to select “Friends and Family” to avoid additional fees. Please reach out if you need an alternative payment method. If you are registering with the “Bring a Friend” pricing, please make note and either include your friend’s contact or have them submit a form as well. Just submitting the form does not reserve your spot!
THE FINE PRINT:
All workshop registration fees are non-refundable within 30 days of the workshop. If you need to cancel your registration, please email meirav.ong.studio@gmail.com at least 30 days before the original workshop date. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be made less than 30 days in advance but I do offer vouchers for future offerings or to use towards purchasing artwork.
