Meirav Ong (b. 1989, Israel) is a conceptual artist whose work focuses on the in-between; illuminating the spaces and moments between control and uncertainty. Her current work investigates how systems of influence simultaneously encourage and challenge our identity through concepts of body image, religion, and patriarchal systems to reveal shared realities about the human experience. Meirav is a graduate of University of Michigan (BFA, 2012) and recently received an artist’s grant to the Vermont Studio Center residency.

Currently lives + works in Brooklyn, NY // Mana Contemporary in Jersey City, NJ
